Kenya produces a robust coffee with a hint of fruit and slight sweet flavor which only comes from coffee grown in a particular region of this country. Kenya's Arabica beans are grown in the mountainous highlands in red volcanic soil rich in nutrients essential for growing fine coffee. The delicate white flowers appear just after the long rains of March and April. The cherries ripen from October through the end of the year. The red ripe cherries are picked at the peak of their flavor in ten day intervals entirely by hand. This laborious and meticulous packing process guarantees only the best beans are used to comprise this premium coffee.
